Work Unit Folder:

If you check the following field, the project will not be set to state 'Delivered' until at least one result for each work unit is reported.
Force distribution until a result is reported

2. Define Executable to process Work Units

It is possible to define executables to process the work units.

Options:
Remarks: If you choose A) you need to define for the platforms of your clients executables, uploaded as .zip archives. GPU clients on the network will receive the compressed archive, when they start computing. Choose B) if you are using GPU plugins as described in the Manual, or if you use an external client, for which the needed executable is already included.

Please note that inside each .zip package you should define an XML configuration file with information about your executable.

This is the folder created when the .zip defined below will extract (same for all platforms):
Extract Folder:
Note: If you leave this field empty, the GPU filedistributor plugin will attempt to find the XML configuration file inside a folder named exactly as the .zip archive.

Packed zip archive (.zip extension) containing all executables needed for:
Windows Platform (x86): Upload zip archive...
Mac OS X (PPC): Upload zip archive...
Linux (x86): Upload zip archive...

3. Define where to upload processed Work Units

It is possible to define a FTP server, where processed work units will be uploaded. If you do not have a FTP server, consider using the ftp server gently provided by LWM-Media to the GPU organization.

Options:
Remarks: If you choose A), every file produced by the executable a part of the work unit itself will be uploaded into the same FTP directory for all clients. Therefore, you should make sure that the executable always produces files with unique names. If you can not garuantee this constraint, choose B) instead. A complex tree structure will be created on the FTP server to hold all reported results. Choose C) if your project does not require to upload results for some reason (e.g. the project uses the 'Report work unit' feature, or if it has other means to report results).

This is the address of the FTP server where results will be uploaded (use ftp:// in front):

These are file filters. Leave them empty if you want to upload everything produced by the executable.
Upload only work units with name which starts with:

This is the port on which the FTP listens. Default is 21. You might want to move your ftp service on another port, for security reasons.

Warning: for the time being, the GPU plugin supports only anonymous access.
